When I opened Hylan Design 30 years ago it was with the intention of designing and building cabinets and furniture for very particular needs. Experience has taught me that the best way to do that is with the full participation of the client, from the initial design to the final installation.
I also believe in the full involvement of my team. Together we are artisan craftsman who collaborate with our clients to bring to life the concepts they’ve dreamed. Because in the field of custom millwork, we have few rivals with the ability to transform your ideas and needs into exceptional, functional, furniture.
My hopes and dreams in 1986 revolved around creating an opportunity for fellow artists to have a place to express themselves using wood and related materials. I wanted to build a business that honors both the people who create the products and the people who live with the products.
And thirty years later, feedback indicates that Hylan Design is that company.
