Hylan Design was brought in by one of our long time clients to design + built and be the general contractor for their new kitchen. We passed concept images back and forth to find the perfect style then began different layouts and elevations to find the right design. We landed on a painted white kitchen, with face frame construction and Calacatta Marble counter tops. The finishing touches such as the bin pulls, ice box hinges, mirrored door and curved mullions made this kitchen a timeless design. What was once an outdated space is now a bright and welcoming environment.

The antiqued mirror and curved mullions on the doors adds elegance to the space
All appliances received face panels to make them blend in and not be noticeable
The Calacatta Gold Marble counter tops underwent computer generated plans prior to fabrication to make sure veining lined up at seams best as possible

High Gloss Kitchen
Hylan Design was brought in by Carrie Ratliff of Interior Spaces to engineer, fabricate, finish and install all new kitchen cabinetry, island and peninsula. Hylan utilized Silver Frost melamine interiors to complement the Benjamin Moore high buff painted exteriors and Caesarstone ‘Organic White’ perimeter counter tops. Pulverized White Bronze metal was sprayed and buffed on the island faces and refrigerator/freezer panels to accent the design. The island grounds the entire space with a stunning blue stone waterfall counter. The end result is a remarkably functional and highly stylized kitchen that fits seamlessly with the rest of the house.]

Many meetings, both at our shop and in the clients home, were dedicated to material selection
Renderings were produced in order to determine the perfect materials
Since lighting was going to play a large part, we rendered "Night View" options as well
Complete shop drawings are produced
All dimensions, details, specs and materials are called out
Once the drawings pass into the shop, the 2D drawings become reality
As the cabinets are built, they are staged in our shop

Every cabinet and drawer's purpose was considered and designed
Lighting was built in and programmed so certain lights came on by pushing 1 button
There is accent under cabinet lighting, up lighting above the cabinets as well as lighting in the toe kicks.
Metal drawer systems keeps the kitchen beautiful even when the cabinets are open
The cabinet interiors are "Silver Frost" which compliments the metalized pieces
