FAQs

Q?

What if I don’t really understand how to read drawings or have a good spatial sense?

A.

We’re here to help with that. We create 3D Renderings of drawings to help you get a “real feel” for what your project is going to look and feel like. We also put your project together in our shop so you can come in and check out the details before we do the finishing. That way you’ll know what to expect so when we arrive on installation day, you’re just watching your dream unfold.

Q?

What kind of input do I have? How do I participate in the project?

A.

We are all about creating and maintaining great partnerships. We value your input and ask for it when we start and continue  to keep you involved as the project evolves. It is, after all, your project. Not only do we meet to keep you up to date with details, we invite you to visit the shop and see your project as it is being created.

Q?

What kind of financial investment should I anticipate?

A.

Project pricing is a rather wide range. Because there’s so much involved in our process, including meetings with you, designing, creating shop drawings, materials, and planning manufacturing and installation, our minimum investment for a project is $5000.

Q?

What kind of materials do you work with?

A.

We work with predominantly wood, though our wood range is nearly as wide as the forests themselves. If you’ve got a specialty wood you’d like to have, we can do it. We also work with metal, glass, stone, concrete and synthetic materials (like formica).

Q?

How long does a project take?

A.

It really depends upon the scope of the project as well as your schedule. A smaller piece typically takes between 8 and 10 weeks. Larger projects could take 12 – 14 weeks from final, approved drawings.

Q?

What’s the best way to get a project started?

A.

Give us a call so we can talk about what you’ve got in mind. You can ask any all questions that are on your mind. We can review drawings if you have them, or we can work on creating those for you. The main thing is to communicate with us about what you want so we can do all that we can to make it happen for you.
